Howl’s Moving Castle Concept Art Book

For my thesis project, I decided to create a concept art book for one of my favorite stories, Howl’s Moving Castle. Instead of redesigning the film from Studio Ghibli, I started from scratch and based it off the original story by Diana Wynne Jones.

I have always been a fan of concept art for movies and video games. I create my own characters all the time, and set out to explore the world of concept art for my thesis.
